David Carrie LLC Sponsors ACC’s “Celebration of Diversity Scholarships Reception”
Houston, TX, April 16, 2009: David Carrie LLC sponsored the Fourth Annual Houston Association of Corporate Counsel “Celebration of Diversity Scholarships Reception” today.
The goals of the reception were to heighten awareness of the importance of diversity in the law, to celebrate ACC’s 2008/2009 diversity scholarship recipients, to increase the interest and support for the Houston ACC Diversity Foundation, and to thank supporters of the Houston Chapter’s ACC diversity legal scholarships.
The Houston ACC Diversity Foundation, a 501(c) (3) tax exempt foundation, was formed to enable corporations to provide direct support in the form of contributions that will be awarded to deserving diversity legal scholars. This program supports and enhances the diversity of the student population at Houston-area law schools and, ultimately, of area corporate law departments and law firms.
